10.5 cups Water
2 cups Whipped topping
sprinkle Green decorative cake crystals (optional)

Directions for St. Patrick's Day Dessert: Rainbow Jell-O

1
Mix 1/2 cup of hot water with one package of Jell-O. If you plan to go by the colors of the rainbow, start with red. Mix until the Jell-O is dissolved.
2
Mix in 1 cup ice water and stir. Distribute among clear plastic tumbler cups. Put the gelatin in the fridge for 30 minutes.
3
Mix 1/2 cup of hot water with orange Jell-O, then add 1 cup of ice water. Distribute the orange among the cups, on top of the red. Chill for 30 minutes.
4
Continue the process in turn with the yellow, green, blue and purple Jell-O. Allow it to set for at least an hour before serving.
5
Top the rainbow with whipped cream and sprinkle, if desired, with green sugar crystals.
Tip
You don't have to use all 7 colors if you don't want to; select at least three, the rest are optional but you will not get as many servings out of it.
