St Patrick's Day Limericks

Katie Sharp-Dierks
There once was a lady named Isolde,
Who was looking for a pot of gold,
She searched in the rain,
Hoping to gain,
Instead all she caught was a cold.

There once was a man named Patrick,
Who possessed a rather imposing stick,
A gal called him a saint,
He told her he ain't,
But she was free to give him a lick.

There once was a man from Dover,
Who found a four leaf clover,
He hurried for home,
But met a gnome,
Who told him his luck was over.

There once was a young leprechaun,
Who while watching his gold gave a yawn,
So he decided to doze,
But what do you know,
When he awoke his gold was gone!
