St. Patrick's Day Poem: Irish Cowboy Poetry for St. Patrick's Day

The Lucky Four-Leaf Clover

Cindy Lynn
I picked a four-leaf clover,
Which should have brought me luck.
Instead I ran into a ditch
And totaled my new truck.

The dogies came a-mooing,
And munching on the flora.
They watched as I stepped out
And then, fell flat on my begorrah.

I could've gotten over it,
Aye, faith in ol' St. Paddy,
Except beneath my wet backside
There sat a green cow patty.
