St. Patrick's Day Suit
I've got to get ready! I've got to prepare!
St. Patrick's Day is coming! Oh, what should I wear?
I must find my socks that are a light jade
A knitted pear scarf my grandmother made.
My emerald gloves decorated with five olive dots
Will go well with my shirt that has spring bud spots.
My forest green pants with an army green hem
My harlequin stockings! I can't forget them.
My army green tie with kelly green tint
Will be under my sweater - a dark, cool mint.
A camouflaged jacket on top of that,
Topped off with my favorite asparagus hat.
I'll lace up my shoes - they're jungle green
I can't wait 'til the holiday until I am seen.
Thinking about it...why should I wait?
I think I'll wear this suit day after day!
