Pinscher enjoys life with his favorite people in Florida
It was a warm pleasant day in the first week of May in St. Petersburg, Florida. The regular Saturday Street Market had opened and the crowds had descended upon the vendors just north of Central Avenue. Pinscher had gotten ready in fine Affenpinscher style. Though the Affenpinscher breed was known as ratters in the old country, they were also the special dogs of the autocrats that loved the hunt.
Pinscher knows that the breed is special and prefers to be chauffeured in a fine carriage.
Pincher was wearing a dandy looking black harness with a bronze name tag and a blue plastic tag for additional identification. In these difficult days, even small cuddly dogs need to bring their information with them everywhere they go.
Pinscher's carriage is a recent model aluminum tube with baby blue fabric with black trim to go with the harness. Black wheels with aluminum spokes and a red brake pedal complete Pinscher's chauffeured vehicle.
Pinscher had two people to care for any needs that might arise on this pleasant Saturday in St. Petersburg, Florida.
As Pinscher sat on the soft white cushion in the warm blue carriage, there may have been thoughts of ancestors going out for the hunt with their royal masters.

The happy distant look in Pinscher's eyes may have been the envisioning of a great hunt. It could also be thoughts of playful mischief that the Affenpinscher is reputed to enjoy getting into.

Pinscher looked to be a very thoughtful and gentle dog. This is something that is one of the ways this breed of terrier is unique. As a breed they like other dogs. They are also much stronger and more capable than there small size would suggest.

Pinscher has short ears that flop over providing an attractive presentation of his small round face.
It is always nice to encounter a beautiful dog like Pincher when traveling about. Dogs like this one which show character and a happy disposition tend to make this a better world. Pinscher is probably a happy dog because of the people, like Barbara, that Pinscher is surrounded by.

Pinscher's breed the Affenpinscher was used as a house pet during the 18th and 19th centuries in part because they were so good a removing mice and rats. In 1936 the American Kennel Club finally recognized the breed in their studbook.

The Affenpinscher is considered an excellent guard dog and companion.

Pinscher's beautiful brown eyes and gorgeous smile may fool some but now you know that behind this mild looking exterior is a capable, fearless and protective guard dog.
