Stall at International Trade Fair

I have been running a business for past 3 years and that too quite successfully. I usually deal mainly with whole sale dealers of my product who in turn make my product available to shop keepers for selling it. This year in the International Trade Fair (ITF) I got an opportunity to showcase my product to buyers from all over the world and take my product to an international level. I also booked a stall in the Good Living section of ITF and was extremely excited about this challenge.

Finally the week came for which the Trade Fair was organized. I got big posters and banners of my company to get maximum publicity and that too internationally. I also hired 2 assistants to help me out with basic operations in carrying out the Stall display of my product during the Fair. As and when people started visiting my stall, I also began to get nervous. Sitting in office and dealing with regular vendors is completely different from standing in middle of a fair and answering to diverse people's queries about your product. I really gained a lot of expertise about my own company and product as more and more people came and asked me for the details which I never cared for. Many people got so impressed that I got huge orders which exceeded the number of orders I used to get in whole quarter.

The experience of putting up a stall at the International Trade Fair completely changed my outlook and helped me tremendously in expanding the market of my product internationally. I now lay more emphasis on going out and marketing a product rather than just sit in the office and rely on conventional style of business. I would strictly advice people to do showcase their products in any of such reliable fair where they get international exposure to enhance their business and personal skills too.
