Pros
The Stamina 4825 comes unassembled. If you see how small the box is you may not believe there's an exercise bike in it. The assembly is a snap. The manual is clear and the pieces fit easily. Once it's assembled you can see that this is a well-built machine. It is also a compact one too. Clearly, this is a bike that you can fit almost anywhere in your home.
When you sit on the bike and start pedaling you can feel that this is a sturdy machine. It doesn't wobble even when you pedal fast. The seat is molded, padded and adjustable. Though it's not as comfortable as your lazy couch it is comfortable enough for an exercise bike in this price range.
There are six preset exercise programs that you can use with this bike. The resistance levels are easily adjustable. The highest setting is strong enough to give you a good and challenging workout.
If you are one of those people you who enjoy watching television while exercising you'll be glad to know that this is a very quiet machine. In addition the monitor on the front is positioned low enough so it won't block your view. The monitor
is large and easy to read. It tracks speed, time, distance and calories. There are pulse sensors on the handrails which make it easy for you to check if you are in the required heart rate zone.
Cons
Though the seat is adjustable the seatback is not. That would certainly make this bike uncomfortable for some people.
Conclusion
If you're looking for a fancy exercise equipment you can scratch the Stamina 4825 Magnetic Resistance recumbent bike off your list. This is a simple yet functional machine that was made for people who are looking for the best bang for their buck. If simplicity is exactly what you're looking for this recumbent bike will fit you nicely. It's an excellent exercise machine that you can use anytime regardless of weather conditions.
