Pros
This little machine is just too easy to assembly. It doesn't have too many parts in the first place so you only need to spend about five minutes sticking the rest together. The assembled unit is really compact so you can exercise almost anywhere and once you done you can put it inside the closet or under the kitchen sink if you want to.
Its small size makes it easy for you to carry this to your workplace so you can sneak in a 10-15 minutes exercise during break. For people whose job are mostly in the office a portable exercise machine such as this one is a nice little helper in keeping them in shape.
For a small machine the Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 is really stable. It doesn't tip when you lean forward and it sticks on the floor no matter how hard you work out.
If you like to workout at home in front of the TV this elliptical is a good fit. It's quiet so you won't be annoyed by squeaky sounds or anything. It also comes with a computer that lets you know about how many steps you have taken and also the calories you burned.
Cons
For a portable exercise machine there is always a problem about trade-off between portability and usability. The Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 is no exception. To maintain portability the stride length is made really short. The second trade-off is resistance. This little machine simply lack strong resistance. It can still give you a good cardio workout but for people who are used to working out on a true elliptical it can be too light.
Conclusion
Even though Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 is not the best elliptical trainer in the market it is really compact and affordable (only $90 in most stores). As a portable elliptical trainer it enables you to exercise anywhere and anytime. For busy people this is a must have.
