How come I'm her and she's me?
Wouldn't it make more sense if you stopped faking it
And dropped the pretense?
Don't tell me the difference between what's truth and the facts
Your decisions were deliberate
Not matters of happenstance holding you back
Just as I am not going to be the lesser of the two
You'll contently remain doing precisely what you do
And it's okay
For you to live this way
But not I
I want to be better than yesterday,
and tomorrow I'll be better than today
And when you realize I really am who you say I be
You'll wonder how come I'm her but she's standing in place of me?
