Where has Star Jones been? What is Star Jones doing now? When is Star Jones' comeback? Where is Star Jones' comeback?

Many folks are asking about Star Jones' inevitable comeback since her controversial and unexpected departure from The View this past summer.

Star Jones fans dying for her comeback can now breathe a sigh of relief, since the former daytime TV talk show co-host is finally returning to the airwaves in a comeback role as guest host on "The Michael Eric Dyson Show," a Radio One syndicated talk show.

Star Jones' Radio One talk show comeback appearance is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Radio One can be found on the web at http://www.radio-one.com/ with Michael Eric Dyson's Radio One show being broadcast at http://www.dysontalk.net/ from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. EST, according to the Radio One website.

"This is a new chapter, a new beginning..." Star Jones reportedly told The Associated Press Wednesday about Star's Radio One comeback via a phone interview. "Absolute new Star..." the new Radio One co-host said about herself, adding that Jones is now a "...very happy, healthy Star whose connection is through her family, through her community and completely in touch with what matters in life."

The admittedly Star Jones-obsessed Gawker.com reported receiving this response from the new Radio One "comeback star":

From the office of Star Jones Reynolds

Dear Friends,

Happy Holidays!

Many of you have written me asking where I've been and what I've got planned for the future. Believe me when I say that your notes and well wishes are received, read, and very much appreciated! And as I promised earlier this year, you all are the first to know of my new projects...

For me, this is a time of brand new chapters and wonderful beginnings. It is my intention to return to my roots of straight, smart "user-friendly" projects that convey my commitment to family, the community, and the law by providing programming that both entertains and informs.

A lot of stuff is on the way in 2007, but first...I am very excited to let you know that for three days next week (Monday, Dec. 18 through Wednesday, Dec. 20), I will be hosting a 3-hour radio program for the Radio One broadcasting network.

Think, a "talk show for your radio," Star Jones reportedly wrote about her Radio One comeback hosting role.

Will Star Jones dish about any fractured relations with Jones' former The View co-hosts during her three-hour comeback stints on Radio One? Radio One listeners will have to tune in to find out all the details of Star Jones' highly-anticipated comeback.

I personally want to know why she is not on tv again. I miss her being on tv. Is there anyway that Oprah could use her on her network, some where?

Paula, I wasn't even aware of what Star Jones was doing since she left "The View" until I came across her last night on a television program on cable. She interviewed some people and was far more subdued than she had ever been at her previous gig. I'm a believer of second chances, so I hope things fare better for her this time around. Have a blessed New Year!

Yeah, Rosie is a breath of fresh air on The View. But I'm interested to see what ol' Star is up to, too!

    Hi Paula,

I don't know how you feel about Starr Jones, but I think who gives a flying F**k. (Excuse my language)Hehe I never really liked her. I thought she was just too full of herself on "the View" She turned everything to all about her. She was a Oprah wannabe. I'm glad she left. Great article though. Keep writing.
