Star Jones to Host the Bad Girls Club 2 Reunion Show

I do not know who will be more ashamed of themself, Star Jones for believing that she can make an impact in these ladies lives or the audience watching the reunion take place. After watching the episode Pimp Down, I wondered to myself, which one of these ladies will improve themselves. After the previous episode, we witnessed the rebirth of insanity and manipulation that can occur amongst these ladies and I was truly disappointed. I came across this show when Oxygen was airing is all day basically and I was waiting for the "intervention " or the " discovery of wanting a better attitude" to happen.

I saw glimpses of this but so far I have not seen a complete change from the ladies. As a viewer you get pulled into the show and you start hoping that they will figure out what it is that makes them tick, and then deal with it and try to make better choices. However, all we are shown, are the ladies trying to lift then tear each other down? I question if they are really like this , and if they are, do they really want to change.

Also, is there anything wrong with being an assertive woman, who does not let others tell them what to do? I think not. I see this in all the ladies, that they are fighting a battle of respect. However, they also seem to disrespect others, so what is the accomplishment . Although this show is entertaining to witness people behave the way they do, lets face it all of us want to tell it like it is , but we hold back; I question the show's purpose.

If the show's purpose was the help these ladies with their issues, I have to say that from what we are shown on TV, the show failed. If the purpose was to intrigue people with the behavior of young adult women who have desires to get better, then it passed with flying colors. The previews for the reunion show, tell us that there will be more yelling and more challenges to "pop off". Which leaves one to conclude that nothing has been resolved. By having Star Jones as the host, I hope that we will get to witness some good news and these ladies have fulfilled the "purpose" of the show. But, I really do not see that happening.
