The final battle against the Emperor has been giving many gamers some real problems. The Force Unleashed gives you so many Force abilities, that this fight can be fairly painless. The Emperor has only a few moves that he does, and with the appropriate counter-measures, the fight can be over in just a few minutes.
The Emperor is Doing Nothing - When the Emperor is simply standing there, charge him and attack with your Light Saber. Be aware that he could throw his lightning at any time when he is "idle," so keep your eyes open.
The Emperor is Shooting Lighting at Starkiller - Timing is everything when it comes to the Force Lightning. Simply keep an eye on the Emperor's fingertips, they will glow purple right before throwing the Force Lightning. A well timed block will not only save you from taking damage, but will also send a little jolt back at the Emperor. Be aware, however, that when blocking the Force Lightning with your Light Saber, you Force gauge will be depleting.
The Emperor is Levitating Objects to Throw at Starkiller - When the Emperor lifts up several objects in a group, he is planning on throwing them at Starkiller. To avoid this, quickly jump near the items, and while in the air near them, perform Force Repulse, which will knock the items out of the Emperor's Force Grip and to the ground.
The Emperor Calls for Backup - When the Emperor calls for backup, his henchmen will approach you while he levitates in a purple energy sphere. Don't worry about the Emperor while fighting the approaching soldiers, as he won't attack you. As the soldiers are approaching, try to use Force Grip to send them flying. Often, these foes can be defeated simply by throwing them around a little.
That's it! Following these responses to the Emperor's actions will lead you to a swift and fairly easy victory of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
