As Rhys and Nym, you take on the trade federation and fight for freedom. Rhys does it because the Trade Federation killed his teacher. Nym does it because the planet he lived on was owned by the Trade Federation.
the graphics of this game are unseen on the Ps2. They are the best PS2 graphics I have ever seen, hands down. The designers were able to utilize a graphics potential that had never been tapped into on the PS2. This seems odd, but maybe they were the ones who set off this wave of great graphics.
There are many interesting missions that you can play as Rhys and Nym. One is that you defend the Queen of Naboo's ship while she travels from planet to planet. This is difficult because of the constantly incoming Trade Federation Fighters. This is where you lose your teacher, and this is where you are picked up after having the engine of your ship blown up by a member of the resistance. There are also missions like destroying a trade federation base in a desolate planet. They have been using this base as a juncture to other planets, considering it is very central to the other planets in the area. It is the equivalent of Saturn in our solar system.
This game is a lot of fun, and you really feel like you are flying a Starfighter. There are many fun unlockables, like cool ships for multiplayer and new missions for single player. Though there is no multiplayer story mode, it is a lot of fun to play with others. There are modes like races through a canyon, shoot-outs, and who can take out more enemy fighters in the time allotted.
This game is a lot of fun, and I would rate it an 8 out of 10 for its. great out of this world graphics and its exciting gameplay. This game is rated T for Teen for Animated Violence
