Starbucks' Pike Place, a Great Option for the Wallet, Waist Line and Palate

By now, all of us know that frequenting at Starbucks not only becomes a daily or weekly habit, it has become a strain on the average Joe's wallet and waist. Well, recently, instead of spending around five bucks for my regular option of the Sugar Free Soy Vanilla Latte, I decided to try out Pikes' Place Café Misto with Soy.

My previous attempt at trying out their daily brew left a sour taste in my mouth and somewhat ruined my Starbucks routine and mood of getting that over priced latte and feeling "with it." I really do not know how to precisely describe that mood I get in when sipping on hot lattes, engaging in light hearted banter, tinkering on the web while at Starbucks, but it is well worth the five bucks or more that I spend for the experience. So when I tried their previous daily brew my sour tasted created a sour mood and I initially said to my companion "that's what I get for being cheap."

So anyhow, one day when I was really pinching pennies, wanted that bold flavor of Starbucks' brew I ordered the Pikes Place Café Misto with Soy. As soon as I received my cup, I could smell that it was going to be a lot more pleasant for my tastebud and inner self. I added very little splenda to the cup, stirred it up, closed my eyes as I began to take my sip. That moments was as if all noise stopped. I was no longer in a busy semi-loud Starbucks' café. I was in penny pinching heaven.

The brew was excellent, it had a rich robust flavor that convinced me that it was not different from the five-dollar latte I had been getting prior to this brew. Since then, I have been purchasing the daily brew café Misto style with soy spending far less than five bucks and not only is my wallet staying relatively full from the budget adjustment, I have noticed more definition in my tummy. You may not know this but those delicious brews can impact your waist line, even if you exercise on the regular. Basically, I can say that Pikes Place is absolutely worth the two to three bucks a cup. You will not only save money but lose some inches around your waist while making your taste buds happy and still getting that undescribable Starbucks feeling that is oh so good.
