Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty Causing Video Cards to Melt
Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty was Blizzard's much anticipated sequel to the popular Starcraft series. For 10 years fans of Starcraft have waited for the game to be released, only to be teased relentless at Blizzcons about its arrival. Imagine waiting 10 years for a game, getting it installed, sitting down to play, owning every noob that bothers to PVP with you and then BAM! Your video card has overheated and melted, causing permanent damage to your CPU.
This problem is running wild on Blizzard's Starcraft 2 community boards; along with complaints of low FPS rates for people using the NVIDIA 196.21 drivers. The complaints started on July 29th and have been growing in number despite Blizzard's recent patch that has helped some but left many worried to even start the game.

At least Blizzard isn't hiding from the bug and has released a solution to offer a quick, if only temporary, fix to the problem.
How to:
Go to your Documents/StarCraft II/Variables.txt
Add these lines to Variable.txt:
