Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty Terran Vehicle: Predator

Kemp Adrian
This StarCraft 2 unit guide will cover the Terran Predator unit. The Terran Predator is a robotic cat shaped vehicle that serves as the only Terran Melee unit, and the only Melee oriented vehicle in the game. The Predator comes with two attacks, the first being the Titanium Claws that are the physical attack, then each attack unleashes a lighting blast on top of that that causes an area of effect damaging all nearby units. The Terran Predator is a new unit in StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty available only in the campaign, being unlocked through the Zerg research tree, which locks out the ability to choose the Hercules Dropship.

The Terran Predator is highly effective against groups of smaller units like Marines, Roaches and Zerglings, thanks to the lightning blast attack. The Predator in StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty suffers at the hands of Roaches, Marauders, Immortals and Thors however, being ranged tougher units that aren't as clustered as smaller units. Since the Predator is armored it's also weak against units with bonuses against armored targets.
