These lines respond
to a highly caffeinated,
and oft-debated question.
Can you figure it out?
The world unseen
And in-between
Is much more real
Than what we mean.
We walk around
With every sound,
But do we hear
Beneath the ground?
What goings-on
We tread upon,
But unaware,
We hurry on.
And far above,
Are currents of
What most we seek,
The highest love.
A star may fall
And seem to call
Both ear and eye,
But that's not all.
If we but once,
Would leave our hunts,
And simply wait,
We'd stop our stunts.
The answer waits;
It resonates,
But we must see
Beyond the gates.

"Be still and know that I am God" Excellent!
great!!
Great job, and I think I got what you were saying, I HOPE!!!!
I think I get it. There is so much we do not know about our own planet.; under the water, beneath the ground as well as in our own atmosphere. Is there life someplace we don't know about? Carl Sagan often asked this question.

Is there a God? (I give up) but loved it.
damn this sounds so familar ........ lol ..... i have an idea of what you are saying but will not tell, for someone may be praying, waiting for their love to appear, if you know what i am saying, the time could be near, but time will tell ,as we know so well, then this poem will quell, and all that is, is going to be, this faithfull day in history. Good Job Miss Lindaken
