Starring You

David Whitsell
I am that man you see everyday
My face changes, but to you I am the same
I was at the market and the park
You asked me for directions
I asked you for the time
I have a family like you
My little girl is sick
My brother died yesterday
I am getting married next week
My cat ran away
You met my friend awhile back
You cut him off while driving
So he says, I am sure you see it another way
Will we ever be friends
Are you busy or afraid
Do you see me at all
I see you, and pause
Realizing we are just extras on a stage
You are mine, and I am yours
But someday that might change

Can't believe I'm leaving the first comment on this! I thought it was great....I view the world in similar fashion, so I totally relate. Thanks for sharing!
