Start the New Year Right

The presents are opened; the table is cleared.

The children are at play with their Christmas toys.

The grown-ups watch and maybe remember some years back when they were little girls and boys.

It's so much different, now, than it was in Grandad's days.

Life goes on at a much faster pace.

Everyone has so much to do and so little time it's hard to get them all together in one place.

It's not over the hill and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go.

It may be over the mountain and through the sky and look at the snow below.

Still, we can have that same love and togetherness in our hearts no matter how great the distance in miles.

Just take plenty of pictures to share, being careful to capture all the smiles.

Soon Christmas Day is a memory, as we get ready for a brand new year.

Some people make resolutions.

Some just enjoy the holiday cheer.

The most important resolution you can make is to give God first place in your life every day.Everything else will fall into place if you walk with Him every step of the way.
