Book covers are the job interviews of the publishing industry: come dressed appropriately in a pleasant and attractive manner and you will have a much greater chance of being hired than the dude who shows up in a dirty tee-shirt. However, as this ebook points out, that first appearance will only get you so far. If you enter the interview and are unable to grab the attention of the interviewer, you have blown your chance at a job. Likewise, if you cannot grab the attention of your reader, they will NOT purchase your book.
"Starting Your Story With a Bang!" by Sevastian Winters: An Ebook Review
What is in this Ebook?
Sevastian covers the basics of what you need to know in order to grab the reader's attention in those first critical pages of every book. Using real life examples from his own bookshelf he explains why they work-or why they fail.
He then proceeds to educate the reader on the reason that publishers only request the first few pages of a book that they are considering, and demonstrates how to snag the potential reader'hes attention by focusing on things that the reader will find important and want to know about.

What are the best features of this Ebook?
The writer not only gives us tips on how to entice the reader to turn those first few pages, but provides a valuable nugget of advice that ALL writers need to blaze upon their foreheads in an attempt to eliminate dull prose from the world.
When I stumbled upon this priceless gem I was quite surprised-Sevastian could (and hopefully will) write an entire ebook on this one incredibly priceless subject, yet he tosses it in here free of charge! I give this book 5 stars out of five for beneficial content.
This one tip will not only help you to pull readers into your work, but if you follow Sevastian's advice you won't run short of happy readers! This one tip alone, not including the rest of the ebook, is well worth the price Sevastian is asking currently. I must give the book 5 stars for going above and beyond the scope of the book.
Sevastian could have slowed the pace of this ebook a bit-the reviewer found the prose a bit dense and had to read it twice to get the full effect of the text, but it is written in typical Sevastian Winter's style of giving the readers both barrels full of his helpful advice. This is a book you want to digest slowly in order to fully benefit from Sevastian's knowledge and experience. As a result of the textual density, this reviewer gives the ebook 2 stars for readability.

Where Can I get a Copy of this Ebook, and How Much Does it Cost?
This book can be found on The Self Publishing Resource Center and on Amazon for the price of $2.99. In this review's opinion, considering the gem he so casually places within this piece, Mr. Winters may want to consider raising the price on this copy. Just that one gem alone is worth more than the price of this entire ebook, and I feel that Sevastian is undervaluing his content in this case. Readers may want to purchase a copy of this book while the price is so low, because the author may decide to raise his price to a more appropriate level. I give this book 5 stars for value.
"Starting Your Story With a Bang!" by Sevastian Winters: An Ebook Review
Overall, this ebook is densely packed with excellent tips for not only starting a story, but for continuing to grab the attention of readers throughout. While it is a slow read due to the compactness of information within, Sevastian delivers the full value of his experience in this ebook. This book receives an overall rating of 4 stars out of five, balanced for the extra value he packs within.
If you decide to purchase one ebook about writing, this would be the ebook I would recommend. It is short, sweet and packed to the rafters with enough to get the writer started--and possibly complete-a page turner.
I had to read this book twice to fully understand the value within these pages; I feel that I am richer for the experience. Thank you, Sevastian for allowing me to review this ebook.
