Born in Columbus, Ohio on July 10, 1970, where he worked for ten years with his Mother, Grandmother, and Jay DeMarcus Mother at the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation, before DeMarcus finally convinced him to move to Nashville and pursue his musical career, and heavily influenced by such Country Music Superstars as Earl Thomas Conley, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Randy Travis, Keith Whitley, Mark Chesnutt, and Marty Rabon, Gary Wayne Vernon Junior took his stage name from a studio console label for his lead vocal track that literally means "Gary the Voice". LeVox gave his first musical appearance in a church play at the age of nine, graduated from Olentangy High School in Lewis Center, Ohio, attended The Ohio State Univeristy, had his first paying gig at the Rag Doll Lounge in Ohio, married his wife Tara on May 15, 1999, has two daughters named Brittany Kay Vernon and Brooklyn Leigh Vernon, worked such odd jobs as delivering newspapers, building swimming pools, and playing in Chely Wright's band with Jay DeMarcus, before meeting Joe Don Rooney as a fill in at one of their performances, and making the big time as the Lead Singer of Rascal Flatts.
Jay DeMarcus:
Born in Columbus, Ohio on April 26, 1971, Stanley Wayne DeMarcus Junior graduated from the Tree of Life Christian School, and attended Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee, performed as the Christian Music Group New Harvest keyboardist, and as a member of the East to West Christian Music Group. DeMarcus sang background vocals for Michael English, became Chely Wright's Band Leader, and invited Joe Don Rooney to fill in as a Guitarist for one of the band's shows. DeMarcus has Produced recordings for Michael English, Jo Dee Messina, James Otto, David Parker, Chicago, and other Performers. DeMarcus moved to Nashville in 1992 to pursue his musical career, and heavily influenced by Merle Haggard, Diamond Rio, Restless Heart, Shenandoah, George Jones, and Marty Raybon, was instrumental in convincing Gary LeVox, his second cousin, and Joe Don Rooney, to play with him in a Printer's Alley show that led to the creation of Rascal Flatts, describing their first performance together as being "special," and "magical," and wanted them to be signed to Lyric Street Records because of the way that Company handled the Kristyn, Kelsi, and Kassidy Osborne sisters group SheDAISY, and because they had the power of Disney behind them as well. DeMarcus is married to the former Miss Tennessee 1999, and Miss Tennessee USA 2002, Allison Alderson, who he married on May 15, 2004, and the couple are expecting their first child in January 2011.
Joe Don Rooney:
Born September 13, 1975 in Baxter Springs, Kansas, and raised in Picher, Oklahoma, a town now permanently vacated by its residents because of large amounts of mining operation subsurface materials making the city's structures unoccupiable, and heavily influenced by such notable Performers as Chet Atkins, Steve Wariner, Vince Gill, and Merle Haggard, Joe Don Rooney is one of the four children of Windell and Jo Rooney, and graduated from Picher-Cardin High School. Rooney completed two years of college at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, was a member of his first band, Unclethumbtack, and is coupled with the former Miss USA 2001 Second Runner-Up, Miss Georgia 2001, and 2005 Playboy Playmate of the Year, Tiffany Fallon, who he married on April 23, 2006. The Rooneys have a son named Jagger Donovan Rooney, and are expecting their second child in September 2010, supposedly a girl.

Full Plate:
Currently performing their ten year anniversary tour, with up and coming Artists Chris Young and Kellie Pickler as their Opening Acts, the boys of Rascal Flatts have a full plate going on including their latest Single "Why Wait" now receiving Country Music radio air play, being newly signed to Nashville's Big Machine Records label, joining fellow Performers such as Trisha Yearwood, Jack Ingram, and Steel Magnolia, and their latest CD Nothing Like This planned for release on November 16, 2010, that Lead Singer Gary LeVox described as "a Rascal Flatts rollercoaster" and as "the strongest body of work we've ever done".
