State of Georgia U.S.A Cigarette Cost Has Risen to $4.54 Per Pack Here in July 2009

Will this cigarette price increase encourage or even force Georgia, U.S.A. smokers to Quit? Probably NOT? It just simply means they will have to "cut back" on daily items such as food, health care products, gasoline, travel expenses, less money for their children, and in some extreme cases causing even a lower living environment because of this "horrible daily addiction to cigarettes and or tobacco" or even take on a second job just to support this terrible habit?

Most of these U.S.A. "Ga. smokers are NOT bad people!" They just have this lifelong addiction to cigarette smoking! A lot of researchers over the years have stated that the addiction to nicotine or cigarette smoking is the same as a heroin addiction (and possibly worse). Simply stating: "This horrific addiction is a daily, year after year problem, similar to the daily habit of brushing your teeth or putting on your clothes, but unfortunately creates health problems. It is most likely the worst invention that human beings have ever created in the history of mankind."

At the present price of smoking (1) one pack of cigarettes here in the state of Georgia at a rate of $4.54 including taxes, the annual price to pay will be $1,657.00 U.S. dollars. Georgians that smoke a daily rate of (2) two packs per day will spend an annual rate of $3.314.00 per year. This comes out to be a staggering rate of 14,600 cigarettes per year, based on the present Ga. U.S.A. cost of $9.08 per day at this particular time in history of July 2009. Georgia economist have stated this price will most likely increase in the years to come, creating more financial problems for lifetime smokers.

Tobacco companies like Philip Morris and RJ Reynolds claim this increase was imposed on American smokers to try to encourage them to quit? Although, these (2) two gigantic tobacco companies are now making MORE money than ever before. Ironically? these (2) two companies do provide tremendous monetary benefits and donations to the American Cancer Society each year, they are still "getting richer and richer!" Certain Internet rumors have stated that Philip Morris spoke persons really DO NOT KNOW what to do about this crucial year after year situation?

Which involves so many U.S.A. health care providers such as insurance companies, doctors and hospitals regarding this daily addiction to "Cigarette Smoking?" that can eventually lead to deathly lung cancer and so many other fatal health problems surrounding this bad habit, that so many Americans have became so accustomed to everyday on a daily basis over the years. Even young people are becoming more and more addicted to this problem habit each and every year.

Now days, a lot of American companies, especially airlines, have started testing applicants for nicotine test, to see whether or NOT they are really non-smokers, which is NOT allowed on modern day airplane travel. Companies that are also involved in health care DO NOT hire employee's that smoke tobacco in any form. Even industrial companies that use explosive chemicals on a daily basis, have placed signs in their bathroom(s) stating "Anyone caught smoking on site, will automatically be terminated"

The reason why? Is because it increases their insurance rates and if the local fire marshal should come in at anytime doing an un-announced inspection, (which they always have the right to do including insurance company inspectors). These companies can actually "FIRE" any year long employee on the spot, without any benefits or future revenue, which is the modern law regarding smoking tobacco, and a lot of these companies will also make you sign a waiver form agreement of non-smoking and have the "legal right of a breath test for nicotine, after your lunch break".

Simply, because "cigarette smoking" is so explosive and hazardous to anyone's health, anywhere, at anytime. "Smokers pay more for insurance. They lose money on the resale value of their cars and homes. They spend extra on dry cleaning and teeth cleaning. Long term, they earn less and receive less in pension and Social Security benefits" as recently reported by CNN money. Addicted lifetime smokers do NOT care? "I will pay the price, whatever it cost and will continue to do so in the future!" Even if it means paying as much as $9.00 per pack of cigarettes everyday.
