Changing your diet can be difficult. Changing your diet for yourself and your three kids can sometimes be quite difficult. That is if what you are buying is something that they don't quite like. As a parent, it can be hard to raise kids with healthy eating habits. Especially in this day in time.

Strolling down the isles while grocery shopping with your kids can definitely be a daunting task. "Momma I want chips... cookies... etc." It can be hard to say no, so when we try to steer them from the Chips Ahoy cookies, we must resort to another type of cookie. That is what I love about Stauffer's Animal cookies and crackers.

I am so grateful that they love these animal crackers. First of all, there are only 100 calories per 13 crackers. There is only 2 grams of fat and no trans fat. A huge 2 pound bag is a little over $2 at Wal Mart. Also, you may notice that once you start eating them, you become full. This is the perfect snack for not only your children, but for you as well.

If you are looking for something that is cheaper then those Goldfish crackers, you will love Stauffer's Whale crackers. First of all, they are a lot more cheesier tasting and made with real cheddar cheese. There are no artificial flavors or colors. With 23 crackers comes only 100 calories. You will find no cholesterol or trans fat in these crackers, either. They taste great with a touch of salt. Goes well with a salad or soup. Even better to go into a nice bowl of potatoe or broccoli soup is Stauffer's Oyster crackers.

There are many other all natural snacks that you will find on their website. You can purchase them at your local grocery store or Wal Mart and the prices are very reasonable. Let's see just how these wonderful and healthy snacks came about.

It all started back in 1871 when the original Stauffer's Animal crackers began to take form. Later there was a bakery opened in Cuba and recently in California back in 2001. More than 250 tons of animal crackers and many other products are produced every single day in the Stauffer's bakeries. The Meiji Company in Japan has full ownership of Stauffer's products as of February of 2004.

This company prides themself in all natural and healthy products from foods to pharmaceuticals. There are also many products for the different seasons and holidays as well. Stauffer's products are an excellent source of healthy snacks for the entire family.
