STAY AWAY from that MILL!

Mario V. Farina

Stay away from that mill!
And watch for the trodden weeds
at the foot of the hill.

Beware of the frigid chill,
and the wind scattering seeds.
Stay away from that mill!

The musty air is morbidly still.
A lonely vulture feeds
at the foot of the hill.

At the foot of that hill,
much wickedness there breeds.
Hark the birds crying shrill.

Stay way from that mill!
Look out for the tangled reeds
at the foot of the hill.

The omens bode naught but ill.
Shrouded are villainous deeds
at the foot of the hill.
Stay away from that mill!
