Humans, have specific unique characteristics that individualize them. Most call it dna. It's not a big deal, and really, stem cells, aren't complete dna, when they are harvested and uniqueness is a wonderful thing, that makes usage easier. Recognition is what is sought most, that and a moment of respect for it's non complete self, people want that, respect for it because they think it's complete life, in a theological manner. Nothing wrong with that. It takes awhile for it to be compleate dna, or complete life and individual. So it's not like sperm meets ova and 'blam` new complete dna connected in those first moments or weeks of life. Recessive traits fight pretty hard to get established. It takes awhile for that dna type to grow and be genuine. The whole dna sequence is not encoded in sperm, each sperm dosen't have a complete dna sequence, neither does the egg, those two have to grow together, for awhile. If that were the case, cyrogenics wouldn't be as possible as it is for the eggs and sperm to "bank". Ignoramusus protesting abortion clinics over a heartbeat of a fetus, when that fetus with that first heart beat, wasn't complete dna and traits were still " not set in stone ". That heart was cells, possibly cells that could of been used in many ways, saved, via face and movement, from being used in research. With possible reckoning being that, that heatbeat is only an impulse gained through the umbilical cord, and placenta properties being the defense of ones reasoning wanting to do research. Be glad they aren't harvesting fetus' at the month age intervals and using them for science. Those arm and leg buds move. Those relationships bettween mother and child, they develop. Religious beliefs, they happen. Cellular division is the only level of existance the stemcell scientists are working with. Well, that cellular division is nearly compleatly reliant upon the parents dna, and most likely compleatly revolvent around parental dna at the time of harvest. They have cellular splitting and generation pretty much timed mapped at this point in this day and age when it comes to stem cell research. They will do what is morally correct for all involved.
That impulse debate is what keeps fetus research out in bay docking. That can be prooven, that umbilical cords are in depth pathways, neurologically controlled impulses, the mother helps to create, the placenta change. That umbilical cord did not come out of the fetus dna forming, the sperm and egg did not create that umbilical cord, the mothers hormones and own dna structure helped that to occur. So there is a teamwork, during child formation, bettween the child and mother that is a complex multi-cellular structure, a lot call soul. Personally I think you earn "soul" and that's something surviving birth accomplishes further earning of life out of the womb reaps and sows, that gestation helps to create. Comon, let the partial birth and the abortions go, get therapy if you need it, if you have had one, wasn't a complete functioning section of dna, but a hormone and impulse fluctuation. Only those segments of dna forming. Partial birth abortions are, vaguely similar and something done on an as needed emergency basis, for medical necessity, due to severe complications. Connections from mother to child during gestation, may be all the relationship they have, the mother and child, while they have it. So, sure, I think there is a relationship that develops, and I also think fetus are able to touch and even play with umbilical cords, and show body language and eye movements in response, to their mothers voice or inside as well as outside stimuli, very early in gestation.
Basically it's very simple, some humans have a mind that can't be reckoned with but the limitations of science theology and social morale try. Well, now a days, social morale is being incorporated into a field of science, when most likely social outcasts were the ones to found it by embracing the oddities of undiscovered, work with it and were eventually able to find possibilities because of it. Life has a natural cycle or course and balance fluctuation, the Earth, sun and moon, they revolve on. There are stars a plenty out in the galaxy, some even need names... If you are at a loss over an abortion or miscarriage, you can always buy a moment and name a star. Or buy rights to name a star and publish the name.
