One great way to decorate a baby's room is by using stencils. Stencils create a unique look because everyone can do something different with a stencil, but they also get very professional looking results. There are so many different types of stencils. If there is a theme in your mind - chances are there is a stencil that exists for it.
If you have never used stencils before, it is a great idea to plan on practicing a couple of times before you actually stencil your baby's room. Practice on a piece of poster board, or on the garage wall, just be sure to give yourself a chance to practice and get a feel for the materials. Stencils are not too tricky to use, but everyone needs to get a chance to learn how a new crafting material works and how it feels in their hands. You want to feel confident when you are working on your baby's room, not so nervous like you are going to make tons of mistakes, so give yourself some time to practice.
Here are some ideas that you could do with stencils. Stencils can be found at most major arts and crafts stores, and you can also find stencils online. Happy Stenciling!
