Step Inside

Step inside the child's heart, the child's mind, the child's soul, step inside the world they live in that once was a nice place to be. I stepped inside a shy girl's soul and all I saw was me. We all had times in life when it all felt so unfair, we picked up what we left behind and never really cared. Life was good then but look at it now, how much is there for them to do, They try and skate they are told to go, they sing they dance, they laugh they shout , but are told they are no good, step inside a child's heart and feel what they see, and see what they hear.

I feel sorry for the child of now because nothing seems to go right, we all fight and try to make it good and never give up the fight, we hide things to save them , we hide things and smile. They know what is going on that's why half only stay for a while. Run aways from families who are all to busy to share...Stop listen and take a moment to show them you really care

Before you know they will be gone and you can never bring that moment back, that tiny little hand tugging on your shirt, that sweet little whisper good night or the sound of the little foot steps when they thought you weren't around. Hug them hold them kiss them good night, tell them you are proud of them and say I love you every night.
