Step into Wrinkles

Theresa Wiza
Step Into wrinkles
And don your white wig
Skeletal crinkles
Will hasten their dig

Of the grave you will enter
Upon your demise
When white wigs and wrinkles
Turn truths into Lies

Because when you dance
You will see in their eyes
Sheer disbelief when
They all realize

That white wigs and wrinkles
Do not paralyze
The spirit within us -
Our youth in disguise.

I dance in my kitchen with my family almost every night, and if they aren't around, then it's solo! :) Love the poem. Thanks!

This is great! We have no choice in the matter, so we might as well embrace the inevitable. I think my wrinkles have adopted me. :)

I love that term "skeletal crinkles". Loved the poem. :-)

Losing weight has enhanced my wrinkles. Who would have thought there would be a downside to losing weight?

I have days I am OK with my wrinkles -- days I am beside myself. Today happens to be a day I am content! :) Fun poem and ain't it the truth! :)

This software is enough to give anybody wrinkles. I've been logged in for 18 minutes and it's still requiring me to type Swedish words (on a U.S. keyboard mind you). Anyway, nice rhymes!

I love my wrinkles - I figure I've earned every one of them! :)
