My life in a bottle,
Going round and round.
Never ending, but going nowhere.
The top is open,
So all I have to do is go thru it.
Where there's a will there's a way.
I am lost within myself,
OH GOD please show me the way,
Before I am through.

So meaningful...I don't know Catdog, but he said it all.
There's a secret message in that bottle. . . . .
It's amazing how when you really look you see that your not alone.... :)
Dear Ken...I feel the same way that you do...It just seems like nothing ever changes for the better and I am standing in one spot all the time...but the key word here is that I am still standing. I haven't fallen, nor have I sat down...You need to stay standing. Be patient. You are in my prayers.
Ken, I am going to use some words of the WISEST MAN I know, "A bird will never fly unless he puts his mind to it. If a shark stops swimming, he will drown." Never ever ever give up! We all have our time and place. Patience is the key even though I am the worst at leading by example on that one. Fly and swim! I know these are just words, but I know how it feels. If these aren't your words, may my comment help the one that feels them true. You are so right on these feelings. Been there and done that, and I never want to again. I have my education and career straight, now I just have to get the rest of it straight! ha ha! Thank you for a perfect visual on the feelings I can relate.
Ken your words are so meaningful...we all feel this way sometimes...you have a great gift x
