An Indiana couple are accused of videotaping sex acts with children they were babysitting. Stephen E. Quick, 31, and Samantha Light, 25, were arrested March 5 after a girl the couple was babysitting told her mother about inappropriate sexual activities.

The young girl told her mother that Quick and Light took photographs of her and touched her inappropriately when she was using the bathroom. Quick and Light ran a babysitting business out of their home, and the couple babysat the girl in their home Feb. 28.

Quick and Light: Video tapes found at couple's home

Fountain County Sheriff's Deputy Bob Kemp told TheIndyChannel.com that deputies seized computers, cameras (including a video camera), pornographic materials, drugs and drug paraphernalia from Quick and Light's home. The search of the couple's home also produced video tapes that depicted the couple involved in various sex acts with at least four other children, ranging in age from 6 years old and 2 months old.

Neither Stephen Quick nor Samantha Light has a criminal record. Quick was preliminarily charged with three counts of child molestation and one count of child exploitation. Light faces four counts of child molestation and one count of child exploitation.

Stephen Quick and Samantha Light Arrested: What are the signs your child has been molested?

Since Stephen Quick and Samantha Light were arrested for possible child molestation, it's common for many parents to wonder if their children were molested as well. Signs of child sexual abuse can vary, but as a parent of a child who was sexually abused, the first sign I noticed in my child was an increase in sexual behavior.

Other signs include regression, an increase in specific and general fear, repetitious behavior and aggression. Read here for more signs of child sexual abuse.

Accused Child Molesters Quick and Light Arrested: What should you do if you suspect your child has been sexually molested?

The mother of the young girl who came forward, alerting police to the accused sexual behavior of Stephen Quick and Samantha Light, did the right thing. The mother, who wished to remain anonymous, told TheIndyChannel.com that she questioned her young daughter, asking if they were merely assisting her in the bathroom. When the child reported that Quick and Light were taking pictures of her while in the bathroom, the mother alerted police.

The best thing parents can do if they suspect their child has been sexually abused is to be an advocate for their child. Trust your gut and tell the police.

Even the police (used to seeing horrible things) were upset. I can only imagine what they encountered and saw. Ugh! Excellent reporting, though.

Good article - it is sad that people like this are in society and are able to run day cares and places that gives them close contact with victims.
