Stepping Out of the Darkness, Evil Does Not Exist

OK, I'm gonna ruffle a couple feathers here.

Sorry, we are out of cocktail peanuts.

I Don't Believe in EVIL. That is what my LOVE WORKS for today is
about.
I don't think EVIL things or people exist. (at least the way we usually think about it.)
(That was the ruffle part, if you are not too ruffled, please continue...otherwise those little bottles of liquor might help here...unless you think alcohol itself is evil...and then I REALLY recommend that you stop reading)
Back to my point.
It is my conclusion that EVIL does not and cannot exist.
HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!!!!!!???
WHAT COULD HE MEAN????
(running around, gnashing of teeth, beating of breasts here)
Ok, I'll explain.
You see, I believe in LIGHT. And I believe that all things we call Darkness and Evil are simply something or someone that is in the shadows and not bathing in the light of GOOD.
I believe in LOVE. I believe it is the most powerful GOOD.
And I believe in dancing around naked in the woods, hugging trees and playing folk songs on a miniature guitar....but THAT'S ANOTHER STORY (Boy, I'm in a strange mood today)
Did you ever see the movie TWINS?
It has Arnold Scwartencheesebergernegger and Danny DeVito in it
and they were twins created in a lab but separated from birth.
Now, if you haven't seen the movie, the joke is already there.
How could Arnold Sausagebiggernector And Danny Devito be Twins.
Arnold is tall and in great shape and smart and nice and successful.
Danny is short and fat and not so smart and rude and
a loser.
How could they possibly be twins?
Well, it is explained....Swashbucklernickerzigler got all the GOOD stuff in the test tube.....And Devito gets everything else.
In other words, Devito was the left-overs from the creation of Swartsandallpicker.....
As Danny so sweetly put it..."So I'm The Shit?!"
So....
That's my whole point (besides not being able to spell
Ah-nold's last name)
I think that ESSENTIALLY everything is GOOD.
Everything is LIGHT.
Everything is LOVE.
In the shadows of that GOOD is what we would sometimes call EVIL
(and we create them ourselves...you know the stuff left at the bottom of the test tube).
I don't think DARKNESS is born...rather, I think it's cold and harshness comes from a LACK of LIGHT.
I also don't think things are born EVIL....but rather are made to seems so...by having a LACK OF GOOD.
I know, I'm not explaining it very well this time (I said I was in a weird mood).
But I don't think that things just show up BAD? I don't think that things or people are JUST EVIL because that's how they were made.
What purpose would it serve God to create things that are DARK and EVIL?
For entertainment?
I think that we ourselves have created vast DARKNESSES on earth ...and WE....not some outside creative force...have allowed if not insisted that things live and multiply in this darkness.
We keep growing our "so-called" evil and darkness because we don't shine enough light on it. Darkness goes away when you add light to it...and so does "Evil" when we add GOOD...
When We add LOVE.....we fill up the world so that the things we call EVIL do not have a place left to live and breathe.
The more LOVE...the less NOT LOVE.
The more GOOD....the less NOT GOOD.
The more LIGHT...the less NOT LIGHT.
If we consider objects, and people to be a finite entity. If we consider all things on earth to be in a countable quantity, then there can only be so many GOOD things...and so many "not good" things.
LOVE being infinite...and thus not finite (did you follow that one?)
We've got tons of it (actually, more than tons...oh, well) to fill the earth with LOVE and GOOD and LIGHT.
And then those other things...the ones I don't believe in...have no place to live.
(unless, of course, that the void created by a lack of love is also infinite...and there would be a strong argument for that...then that void could suck us all in and their would be no more place for LOVE to live and breathe, and...well....that's too grim to consider at the moment.....so I won't)
So there it is.....
My 500-page thesis on "WHY EVIL DOES NOT EXIST" in
500 confusing, yet oddly thought provoking words.
It's what I believe and I'm sticking to it.
I Think.

Post a CommentFor someone who posts as "Normal Man", your words do not reflect this. Actually, they reflect Evil...so I suppose you've made yourself clear about this point.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I have trouble though trying to explain to "nonbelievers" a God that can not be seen with the naked eye...but I believe that is because Faith is something that you have to experience for yourself. You can't give that away or try to have someone "get". They either believe it or not. I also believe that if someone doesn't believe and they want some answers, if they ask God to show them, you know tell God hey, not sure if I believe there is a you or not maybe you can show me, I believe God will move heaven and earth to show you he really and truly exists. I don't think that he would force himself down someone's throat. He would show them and then leave it up to them as to whether or not they wanted to believe. Hopefully, they would ask for a discerning spirit...so that when the time came that God did show them...they would know for sure.
What I think is that the satans are the simple minded ones who believe in satan for they don't teach faith in God. . To have an enemy makes one an enemy? Because you don't believe that God's creation belongs to Him and in some way you are gonna try to fix His screw up? Its written in the bible that the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. Every one who claims to receive God's mercy and continues to search for enemies are the evildoers planning to prove God's goodness with evil. lol. They have not entered into His Kingdom yet. Believe me God can handle HIS Creation all on His own without your so called good intentions. We cannot give ourselves to God for He owns all things already ( that includes you and your other god you teach called satan) we can only submit. Those who teach fallen angels are only rebels in disguise and they are only here to test one's faith in Almighty. They are the very thing they claim to be fighting against.
I believe all the ugly things and "bad" things and suffering in the world is with a purpose of God in his will. Otherwise, being powerful, He would destroy it, including Satan. The only reason Satan can exist is because God allows it, and has a purpose to it, and not because he cannot destroy Satan or evil itself. Evil seems to spring from man. Given free rain, Satan has no power, really. It's man who is tempted and falls, or not. Job is a great book to read in this regards. 50 chapters, and Satan does not win, because God is more powerful.
Interestiing post. Granted, no one is born evil and God does love everyone, even those who are doing evil things. But evil does exist. Satan is real, and he is evil. People can do evil things and eventually become evil (yes, because they have lost all the light you talk about).
I think I understand. Everything is beautiful, including all the ugly things. Did I get it?
