Where do the natives shop for groceries?

Super Wal-Mart
100 Mall Drive
740-266-6658

Everyone, and I mean everyone, shops here. And half of them are here now!
If you want to avoid the crowd, shop by 11:00 in the morning, before the shelves need restocking.
Fresh produce, a bakery, jewelry, clothing, a fully stocked grocery store and department store, along with a pharmacy, make this a one stop experience.
There is a bank, a pretzel shop, a restaurant, and a Vision Center.
Located adjacent to the Fort Steuben Mall.

Kroger
264 South Hollywood Boulevard
(Look for the large sign on Sunset Boulevard)
740-264-5057

Kroger is a fully stocked grocery store.
This regional chain has its own brand of merchandise besides the national brands. The quality is equivalent, if not better than national brands, and is less expensive.*
Kroger has a large produce section just after the pharmacy, florist, delicatessen, and organic food sections at the left entrance.
Fresh seafood and meat are located in the back of the store.
The right entrance has a home interior clearance room before the dairy section.
And everything else is in the middle.

Federico's
3911 Sunset Boulevard
740-266-6860

Federico's is a locally owned Italian specialty store.
The smell when you walk in the door 'hits your eye like a big pizza pie.' It's amore.
Baccala, Pecorino Romano, fresh breads and cheeses, olive oil, and Italian sausage fill the air with pungent aroma.
Heaven to the locals. Mmmmm....

Riesbeck's
100 Main Street
Wintersville, OH
740-264-4242

Riesbeck's is located on the city line between Steubenville and Wintersville.
The interior is red and white and reminiscent of the A & P stores you remember as a kid.
This store has quality fresh meat and store specials. Runners will help carry groceries to your car and load the trunk for you.
At no extra cost. Actually, you'll pay a little more for groceries here, but the specials are worth it.
Oh, and you may want to make a special trip around Easter. The Paschke pastry smells heavenly.

*A key card can be obtained at the office in the front of the store. Sales and lower prices are available to those with the key card.
