Steve Buscemi is on a Roll at the SAG Awards

Steve Buscemi wins the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. Although it was Buscemi's first SAG Award, the 53-year-old actor is on a roll with his stellar portrayal of Nucky Thompson, the corrupt Atlantic City Treasurer in "Boardwalk Empire." Earlier this month, Buscemi won a Golden Globe for Best Actor for the performance.

As is Buscemi's way, he accepted the award with grace and modesty. It's what we are accustomed to seeing from him. For example, before he gave his acceptance speech, he praised Alec Baldwin and Betty White, who were the presenters. "Wow, I was given an award by Alec and Betty White. Thank you so much, I really appreciate that."

From firefighter to experimental theater groups to TV and motion picture actor, Buscemi continues to prove that he has the acting chops to remain a fixture of entertainment for a long time to come. "Boardwalk Empire," produced by Terence Winter, Martin Scorsese, Mark Wahlberg, Tim Van Patten and Stephen Levinson, is a top TV drama and a good vehicle to showcase Buscemi's awesome talent.
