An article that appeared in The Moscow Times touched on the "Russian connection" tied to the Steven Seagal sex trafficking scandal. In an article published on April 16, 2010 in theMoscow Times, it is stated that Steven Seagal kept "two Russian assistants available for his sexual needs twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

Steven Seagal was a Regular Visitor to Russia

According to the Russian newspaper, Steven Seagal was a regular visitor to Russia and Seagal himself claims to have some Russian heritage. Steven Seagal remains a huge star in Russia. According to the account in the Moscow Times, in 2003 then Russian President, Vladimir Putin invited Steven Seagal to his country home.

The Russian Attendants

The identity of Steven Seagal's two Russian attendants, referred to in several accounts as "sex slaves", remains a mystery. The Moscow Times has noted that Americans tend to use the term "Russian girls" to refer to any female from Lithuania to Moldavia. It is difficult to say at this time, with the lack of information circulating about Steven Seagal's two Russian attendants, whether they are in fact from Russia or from one of the many other Eastern European countries that once comprised the Soviet Union.

Lawsuit Filed Against Steven Seagal

A lawsuit was filed by Steven Seagal's former personal assistant, twenty-three -year-old Kayden Nguyen claiming that Steven Seagal had sexually harassed her. The lawsuit goes on to accuse Seagal of sex trafficking, charges related to the two Russian women who were employed by Seagal as "sex slaves" according to the allegations.

More Women Coming Forward

According to several news reports, Nguyen's attorney has stated that more women have come forward accusing Steven Seagal of sexual misconduct. The details involved have not been disclosed, but it appears that the case against the former action hero is not going to go away any time soon. Kayden Nguyen is suing Seagal for $1 million.
