Steven Tyler is Back with Aerosmith
The Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock Tour is On
The audition reference was to Joe Perry who has been running auditions for a new lead singer while Steven and the Band traded barbs about their future.

Steven has been in rehab for painkillers that he says he has needed because of injuries he has suffered over the years performing for Aerosmith as their lead singer.
This all began when Steven was injured because of a fall off the stage in South Dakota in August. This ended the Aerosmith summer tour as Steven was being treated for his injury.
The band led by guitarist Joe Perry could not get in touch with Steven who has had a history of substance abuse. Since they could not get in touch except through Steven's attorney they decided to hold auditions for a new lead singer for Aerosmith allowing the band to move forward while Steven languished in obscurity.
Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock Tour- Summer 2010
The new tour kicks off in Sweden June 10th and the band will be happy to be back on the road. One thing is for sure Aerosmith is one of the most enduring bands having been around for over three decades. They have overcome serious substance abuse and still rock out like they were 30 years younger.
Big hits like "Walk this Way" "Emotion" and more has fueled their existence to a new generation of rockers who like the one before them is more then ready to see them rock out.
Steven Tyler: Is He Really Ready to Get Back on Stage?
Steven has really struggled with his health of late and at his age he is finding it harder to get back to professional health. It will be interesting to see how he copes with the grueling schedule of a big time rock tour.
He has hinted around about pursuing a solo career, which angered Joe Perry and ignited the whole fight to begin with between Steven and the band.
Steven is a professional and he should know when its time to call it quits but lets just hope they can endure the whole tour this summer first.
