Steven Tyler Becomes America's Sweetheart Judge After the Chris Medina's Sad Love Story

It's official, I'm in love with Steven Tyler. Well, not in a romantic way. I have always been a huge Aerosmith fan, and my favorite concert was when Aerosmith played with The Black Crowes years ago, but I never dreamed Steven Tyler would be so good on American Idol as a judge that he completely took over the show. Look nobody really cares now about Simon or Paula anymore. Simon who?

How can you not love Steven after he made millions of fans cry last night? I don't know about you, but when he went over to Chris Medina's fiancee Juliana Ramos and said "That's why he sings so good-because he sings to you." I bawled my eyes out I admit it. And to top it off he gave Juliana a kiss. So after Steven Tyler made me cry, it was official, Tyler is the "IT" factor that Idol has been missing for years.

Yes Simon was cruel, funny at times and straight to the point, but Steven out beats him by a long shot. If you'r not a fan of Idol but enjoy Tyler it's still definitely worth watching. Just for the lines that come out of Steven Tyler's mouth is worth it. How about "Slap that baby on the as* and call me Christmas", or "Well, hellfire save matches, fu** a duck, and see what hatches", or "Weird, compelling, great. Really different?" Where will you hear those phrases on Fox?

I love the fact that Tyler can dish it out like Simon once did, but with some class, and humor to boot. The guy likes to have fun by pretending to play drums or singing with other contestants. He is a genuine and softie at heart and hey he even flirts. Can you get any better than that as a judge?
