"We all come from other real estate offices, and we had a vision as to how we wanted to do things," Vickie Banks said. "Buying or selling a property can be very scary...there is a lot of money at stake. We try to take the stress of the transaction away and make it a very positive experience."
One way the Sticks & Dirt team does that is through education, not only with individual clients, but also by teaching seminars to the public. In cooperation with Lower Cape May Regional High Schools Adult Education Program, Sticks & Dirt Inc. conducts hour and a half seminars regularly. For information and to register for the next seminar, call Sticks & Dirt at 609-889-3500 or the school at 609-884-3475. The class explains the process of real estate transactions. Those who attend can learn about any recent changes that might affect the buying and selling of real estate.
When asked for their insight into the current real estate market, we were told that there are good opportunities for both buyers and sellers; mortgage rates are still quite reasonable, making it easier for buyers to get loans, and therefore, easier for sellers to find qualified home buyers.
Sticks & Dirt, Inc. has experienced a lot of growth in the two years they've been at their North Cape May location. Although they specialize in the Lower Township area, they service all of Cape May County. Their teams of agents live in towns throughout the county (they're either "natives" or long-time residents), and so they have the experience and knowledge to answer any questions buyers or sellers may ask. For example, a potential buyer may have questions about the local school system, and the agents become a great resource for them.
The team at Sticks & Dirt, Inc. believes in giving back to the community, and in addition to offering real estate classes, they're personally involved in many local organizations. In conjunction with the Lower Township Police Department, they collected toys to be distributed at Christmas to local children. Sticks & Dirt, Inc. principals Grayce Kelleher, Vickie Banks, and Suzanne Webb, have over 70 years of combined business experience. Also, bringing their expertise to the team are sales associates Heijung Park-Colameco, A.J. Fewell, Sherry Sheldon, MaryEllen Tekula and marketing coordinator Bonnie Allamong.
Real Estate at the Jersey Shore has experienced record increases in the past two years, and the number of real estate agencies has also increased. Choosing the right agent to help you through the process of buying or selling your home will help ensure the success of your transaction.
