I guess it's really over

We were hanging by a thread anyway

But still I thought we would make it work somehow

Still I thought that if we cared enough we could keep our relationship alive

But I keep turning to look for you

And you're no longer standing beside me

You're no longer looking in my direction

You're no longer interested in what I say or do

So I guess it's really over

For you, anyway, but not for me

I'm not ready to tell you goodbye

I'm not ready to walk away

I'm not ready to let go of what you've meant to me all this time

I am sure I will move on in time

I will find another way to be happy

A way that doesn't revolve around my love for you

And maybe one day you will look around and realize what you've lost

When you realize what you had and what you threw away

and then you'll be the one to understand that it's still over after all.
