Still No Leads in the Shooting Death of Ferndale Coach Shawn Patrick

Ferndale's Middle School & High School girls basketball coach Shawn Patrick was shot and killed in front of his home last week on the 300 block of E. Milwaukee. The Detroit police are baffled by the death, the 2 assailants crept up behind the coach as he was getting something from his vehicle. There is currently no information on a motive, or leads on the suspects.

The crime was witnessed by the coaches son, making it even more difficult for the family. And according to the Detroit News the coach was shot in the back of the head. The Ferndale basketball coach was currently working with 3 teams, Middle school, junior varsity, and varsity.
