Eight's gate and it's time to donate, ha, ha, not really. But you are just about done with your redecorating project. You're down to your finishing touches.

All your "helpers" have worked hard, everything looks great. You even remembered to take a break for lunch. And your darling little girl is staying the week at grandmas so you can finish up the last little details, and so you can have a bit of a rest.

But your fast approaching your deadline, so you'll need to hurry just a little more. Maybe a fan will help the paint dry a little faster.

Well at any rate you've done a lot for one day. The paintings all done, the carpets been pulled up, and the fans are on to help dry the walls. So what do you do while you are waiting on the walls to dry and before you begin your stenciling project?

You finish up any sewing projects you may have started of course. Or you have someone else finish them up. You also sort your darling daughter's clothes. You want everything to be neat and orderly. Bag up anything that's too small, the excess, and keep what's left. You may find you need to get out another credit card or a little more cash so you can go shopping for clothes.

But it's almost Christmas and shopping is helpful for the economy. So off you go, to help stimulate the economy, to help someone keep a job. Besides shopping fun, when it's for someone you love.

By the time you've finished your shopping, your sewing projects, and baked yet another plate of cookies for Christmas, the walls should be dry, and ready to be stenciled, or perhaps, you'll glue or tack small pieces of Velcro on the walls, so you can more easily place some of your daring daughters favorite stuffed toys on the walls.

After the walls are done, and the carpets have been replaced. It's time to move the new sturdy furniture in. To hang the curtains, to pin up the growth chart, to place the books on the shelves, the toys, in their places, the dolls on the corner shelf, the clothes neatly in the closet on low shelves and racks so your' darling can find her own things. '˜Shoes under the bed, beanbag chair in a corner, a dresser by the door, an upholstered toy-chest at the foot of the bed, a new rug to go under the bed, everything in its place, a little girls dream.

Now it's about time to start on your toddler son's room. Oh, boy you say.

But don't worry, you've done a great job, your darling daughter is going to love her new room. Its designer perfect, designed just for her, and done with much love by you, maybe you'll let the kids stay with your mom for a whole month, or just till Christmas.

Well, as you were out and about you kept notes on who had the best prices, you found the quality, and you found the best. Now you'll be making the rounds again, for your little boy.

So, now, we'll close the door to your darling daughter's room, and begin the walk down to your little boys' room, whose been waiting patiently for you. Waiting to see if you've remembered him that he'd like his room to look brand new.
