Stinky the Garbage Truck 2010 Hottest Toy; Creative Ways Stinky Can Help Your Children

Child Afraid of Pooping? Stinky to the Rescue

Ok, by now I'm sure all of you have heard about Stinky The Garbage Truck being the hottest Christmas toy for 2010 right? Why wouldn't it be? Stinky eats cars, poops, sings, moves his jaw, tells jokes, screams when he's hungry, snores and goes to sleep. C'mon, this is a little boys dream truck, which he will treasure for more than just a week.

Some parents are very leery about buying Stinky The Garbage Truck due to it's high price. Yes, the toy is anywhere from $44.99-$115.00 depending on where you shop or more like where you can find it since most stores are sold out, but it does have awesome uses to help your child. Right now parents aren't thinking about creative ways Stinky can help their children, all they see is the steep price. Here are my thoughts and creative ideas which could help many families out.

Have A Child Afraid Of Pooping?

Some toddlers are so afraid of pooping they start to cry, scream, panic, get very irritable, and even try to hold the poop in. When you have a child like this, us parents can only do so much. If they are not constipated just comforting the child will work, but we all know sometimes we can not be there 24-7. Having Stinky can help this process, and make it a lot smoother.

Stinky poops out cars, and kids will definitely get a kick out of this. If they see the truck doing poops it can make them feel more comfortable and think to themselves "Pooping is okay to do, Sometimes it may be funny, and sometimes it may messy, but if Stinky can do it so can I." The key to this method is to encourage, praise, and reward. If you have to, have your child take Stinky to the bathroom. Sit the truck on the toilet, and actually have Stinky poop an old car out, but don't flush the toilet.

Child Won't Sleep Or Stay In Bed Alone

This might sound crazy, but how we all go to sleep is a learned behavior we learn from our parents, or whoever is taking care of us. Parents need to teach their child it's okay to sleep, and not to be afraid. Reassure the child let them know you will be close if they need you. By Having Stinky this would be the perfect opportunity, because once your child stops and plays with the truck it will go to sleep and start snoring.

Have your child watch and learn from the truck. Then have them take Stinky to bed, and tell them "When Stinky goes to sleep, you need to close your eyes."

Teach Your Child Manners

Stinky can teach your child to say excuse me, or thank you. When the truck farts he will say excuse me, which will show kids that's what they have to say after they fart. Then when you feed him he will say thank you. This will help kids realize after someone does something nice for them they need to say thank you.

This hot Christmas toy for 2010 is definitely worth buying. Not only will your child have hours of fun they will learn as well.
