Stirring the Noctambulist

J L Carey Jr
I am... black and blue beneath the moon
Aching for this Analogous Danu

And the air is an ocean
Of dreams adrift and unfulfilled

Who linger there lusting
To slip inside us when our eyes close

And the world careens
And the darkness opens like a rose

And the blind eye surfaces ocean filled blue
To see... a burning new horizon

I love the imagery here, JL. I also appreciate the original way that you speak of universal things. Wow, just brilliant!

Lovely. You do well and are doing well for the short time that you have been on this site. I think that you are going to be the lead poet here. I love your work.

Your imagery is wonderful. "And the darkness opens like a rose" is one of the best lines I've read in many a day. Unfortunately the image on this one didn't show, but I'll try again later. These AC glitches are getting beyond a joke!

Beautifully poetic! You must enjoy mythology! "And the world careens
And the darkness opens like a rose"~ favorite line.
