STNA
A state tested nursing assistant requires two important things. You must first have a GED or high school diploma or have at least eighth-grade reading or math skills. In this program, you need to complete at least 100 hours. The online test practice gives you the chance to study and fully prepare for the upcoming test.
CNA
Certified nursing assistants help nurses with patient care. CNAs are inspected once a year by state surveyors. These surveyors come in to make sure everything is running smoothly. This includes the staff, well-being of the patients, etc. You can become a certified nursing assistant in about the same hours as a state tested nursing assistant.
These two positions are very rewarding. It feels good to know you are helping those who need you. It is good to feel needed. A career in the medical field is something to take pride in every day. Whichever you decide, you will not be disappointed.
This is very rewarding. A simple thank you will make your day. Life in the day of a medical career is always changing.
You can prepare for the test online for both positions. There isn't much difference between the two. The state you live in will determine which one you will be called. These are jobs that are becoming high in demand. Do not miss the opportunity to explore these wonderful employment opportunities.
Just because you have the education and certification doesn't mean you are prepared for the job itself. Compassion for people is a must. You can't work with people if you don't have the ability to be compassionate and understanding. It will make the job even harder. Patience is another key to making this job successful.
