Kisses

A bag of Hershey kisses is always a sweet gift in a stocking. Sending kisses to someone always brings them joy. The holiday kisses wrapped in holiday colored foil are quite pretty.

Home-Made Ornament

A home-made holiday ornament is always a cute little stocking stuffer treat. Ornaments may be easily made from small pine cones, or by wrapping a plastic wrap covered popcorn ball in a ribbon.

Play-Doh, Dreidel, or Marbles

Old fashioned toys like Play-Doh, a dreidel or marbles are fun treats in a stocking. They might even keep the kids busy on the holiday so the gift will have a double purpose.

Felt Items

Small items made from felt are fun to put in a stocking. It is easy and inexpensive to make a felt ornament in the shape of someone's initial or a small felt change purse, or a felt candy holder.

Tiny Artwork

Some pieces of art are small and easy to fit in a stocking. Find a photo, painting or other kind of art that would make a nice stocking stuffer gift.

Silly Bandz

The newest bracelet trend, silly bandz, will fit easily in a stocking. This gift is colorful and fun.

Art Supplies

For anyone who likes to be creative, art supplies are a fabulous stocking stuffer. Include items like colored art pencils, markers, and small paper pads.

Gift Certificates

Home-made gift certificates are always fun to find in a stocking. The certificates could be for dinner out, for a hug, for a day somewhere special, for a vacation or for any activity that would be special to the stocking recipient.

Candy Canes

Candy canes come in a huge variety of flavors now. So find some few different types of candy canes and add them to the stocking.

Flower Seeds

Packets of seeds for summer flowers are always fun to see in a stocking. Give someone the gift of dreaming of a summer garden!

Romantic Treats

If the stocking is for a spouse or romantic partner add stocking stuffer items like massage oil, gift cards to romantic restaurants or specialty gourmet food stores, scented candles, certificate for special home-cooked meal, travel tickets or tickets to special events.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are always appreciated. There are so many different kinds of gift cards now. They could be for music, restaurants, travel, books, and many other things.

Tree Seedling

A tree seedling is a great stocking stuffer gift. This gift will bring happiness for decades to come.

Fishing Lures

If someone loves to fish a new lure is a great stocking stuffer. They will easily fit in a stocking and there are a wide variety of lures to choose from.

Home-Made Treats

A small plastic bag of homemade treats like chocolate dipped strawberries is a great stocking stuffer. Or make home-made or nonpareils, which are super easy to make as there are only 3 ingredients. To see Martha Stewarts's recipes for nonpareils go HERE.

You guys are the best. I love those ideas. You gave me some good suggestions for my kids, mom and friends. These ideas are really going to help this year.
I have the best husband! Since I’m just over 5 feet tall I struggle with having to reach. I developed shoulder pain from pulling down the back door of my Caravan minivan. My husband found a product that really helped. The wrapper said [ Mom’s Little Helper Handle ]. It’s a strap that hangs from the handle of the back door. It’s much easier to close the van door. What a God sent! You can’t believe how much it helped with shopping! I hope this helps!
    Happy Holidays!
