Stocking Stuffers for All Computer Users

Timothy Scheiman
This covers just about anyone who spends part of their time using their computer. Sometimes we forget that computer accessories and items make good gifts for people like us. The good part about it is most of the items are small enough to fit in stocking, well almost, and are inexpensive. In this article I list some accessories that you can get to give to everyone who has a computer in the family.

CD/RW or CD/R disks

This makes a great gift for those who like to burn music, pictures, transfer files, or copy anything. You can get packages of 10/50/100. They are always used and can really come in handy. You can usually stuff them in a stocking for great stocking stuffer gifts. I can guarantee this will never be a gift that is returned cause everyone can use these that uses a computer. Don't have a CD burner? You can get one for under $50 and stuff it in a stocking. If it doesn't fit it still makes a great gift anyway.

Flash drives

These come in many styles and memory capabilities. Many are smaller than a key chain and hold quite a bit of data for transferring back and forth. They make great gifts for students to carry data back and forth between school and home. The greatest part is you can access them from any computer. They are truly plug-n-play.

Spill-proof mug or glass

Did you know they sell spill-proof containers for that coffee or soda you sipping on while reading this article. Imagine a nice stocking stuffer that will keep your laptop or desktop free from accidents from liquid. They will fit in stocking and make great gifts for those computer users in your household.

Mouse

A new mouse is always appreciated as a gift and its always good to have a spare. If your mouse were to quit working you would want another one fast. Mice don't have to be cordless in fact I don't see the need for cordless mice and keyboards when a nice wired mice will do the job and you never have to worry about getting batteries. If your going to buy a nice mouse for a member of your family look into getting a good optical mouse. Optical mice don't use a ball and have light emitting diode. These make good gifts and usually can get a nice mouse for under $30.

Keyboards won't fit in the stocking but still make a nice extra gift or stocking stuffer.

Game

Games always make a nice stocking stuffer. Whether people want to admit it everyone likes to play a good game once in awhile. Just make sure the person your buying the game for has the computer specs to run it. Most games you can get for under $50. The older games cost under $30.

Cam

You can also get a cam for under $50. These sit on top of your computer so you can do chatting, video conferencing, etc. The better cams have higher FPS and better video quality. Cam FPS(frames per second) start at 30fps. So the higher the number the better. These make nice stocking stuffers and you can really have fun with a cam attached to your PC.

Software

Other software like tax, bookkeeping, virus protection, etc also make nice stocking stuffer gifts. Most of these software packages you can also get for less than $60. If you want to buy a major application that costs some serious money and maybe too much to spend for a stocking stuffer. When it comes to software the choice is yours and whatever your Christmas budget will allow.

You can easily add anyone of these gifts as great stocking stuffer and the person getting the gift will love you for it.
