Stocking Stuffers for Preteen Girls

Christie Silvers
Stocking stuffers are almost as exciting to a preteen girl as the big gifts are. So this year why not show her how much you care with stocking stuffers that she will enjoy. Preteen girls tend to think that they are older than they really are so sometimes just a stocking full of candy and fruits isn't enough to excite them. Here are a few ideas on stocking stuffers for preteen girls.

Sample and trial sizes of things like lotions, body washes, soaps and similar products are always popular stocking stuffers with preteen girls. You can find trial sizes of many different products at most stores like Walmart, Kmart, CVS and other such stores. Find some pretty colored shower gels with matching body lotions and maybe throw in a body spritz. Preteen girls will adore these.

Lip glosses are another popular stocking stuffer for preteen girls. There is such a huge array of lip glosses available on the market that you will definitely be able to find something acceptable. There are flavored lip glosses and glitter lip glosses and lip glosses that smell so yummy that you would swear they were edible. You can find single glosses and even packs of multiple flavors of lip glosses. Throw a few of these in with the shower gels and hand lotions and your preteen girl will feel completely pampered.

Gift cards make fantastic stocking stuffers for preteen girls. My preteen daughter has fallen in love with a store named "Claire's" and is always begging for a gift card for there. This store is full of all types of jewelry, make-up, room accessories and just anything girl related. All you have to do is find a store that your preteen daughter loves to shop at and get her a small gift card to enjoy during the after Christmas sales. Gift cards are nice because you can put as much or as little money on it and your preteen girl will love it.

My preteen girl loves jewelry. She has just recently become interested in accessories so it's very fun to shop for her in this department. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces, anklets, rings or any combination of them all make great stocking stuffers. Pay close attention when your preteen girl shows interest in particular accessories so that you can use that when you are shopping for stocking stuffers.

Hair accessories are great stocking stuffers for preteen girls also. You could buy new hair brushes and combs. Or a new set of ponytail bands. Even some nice clips and headbands would be happily enjoyed.

Another cool stocking stuffer for preteen girls is an MP3 player. These items come in such small and compact sizes that they are a perfect fit for being a stocking stuffer. I saw one today that was only a one inch cube in size. It's amazing how small they can make things now. If your daughter doesn't already have an MP3 player then it could be a great choice for this Christmas. My daughter has been asking for one for the last 5 months even though we just bought her a new CD player last Christmas. So I finally gave in and bought her a very cute pink one for Christmas this year. She will be in love the moment she sees it. I guess it's a good thing that she doesn't read my articles yet.

Lastly, if you are still stumped on what to buy for stocking stuffers you only need to look at what your preteen girl already has. If she still likes Barbie dolls you could buy her some accessory kits for her dolls. If she's into music you could buy one of her favorite CDs. If she's into handheld video games you could purchase a new game that she has been asking for. Most of these are small enough to fit nicely into a stocking. Journels, books, colorful ink pens and markers and even a set of cute girly stationary is all very appropriate stocking stuffers for preteen girls. Many of these you will be able to find for low prices in your local discount and dollar stores.

Happy holidays and happy shopping!!
