Stocking Stuffers for Teenage Girls this Christmas

Paige Nieto
Anyone who has one knows that sometimes, teenage girls are the hardest people to shop for. Their tastes are eclectic and every changing but even bearing that in mind there are some items that should always hold up. Here are some stocking stuffer ideas for the teenage girls in your life.

Nail Polish-the handy thing about this is they can also come in mini-sizes with a different variety in one pack. I always loved painting my nails when I was a teenager and looking around at the girls nowadays the habit seems to still be around. You can get a couple of different types of colors in both dark and light if you don't know which one she prefers but nail polish is always a fun gift to get.

Twilight Movie-I really don't know of a single teenage girl on the planet who doesn't love this franchise and Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner. If she doesn't already have this movie she's going to want it so go ahead and put this in her stocking by the mantle. The only reason I don't recommend the books as a stocking stuffer is because I don't think they would fit.

iPods-these handheld portables are becoming less and less expensive as each newer model comes out. What's great about these is that she can store tons of music on it and there is even an option to hook it on to a car stereo so if you don't mind her taste in music you can listen to it on long trips when there is no radio reception and you're bored with your CDs. Plus it will be something to help her from being bored whenever she's somewhere she may not want to be.

Pocket Brush-you know the kind I'm talking about. They sell them everywhere from Claire's to as souvenirs at any amusement park. They are the kind that fold in on them shelves and you have to push the bristles out and there is a little mirror on the handle. This is a handy tool that can go in their purse so no matter where they are or what they're doing they can always touch up their hair.

Stick on Jewels-with this they can help personalize some of their stuff from a cell phone or an I-Pod (or any other MP3 player). It helps them be creative and to also make their items their own by letting them put their own unique flair to it.

Earrings-you can get this in variety packs at Claire's and it is always a good small gift for teenage girls as they like jewelry. Make sure you know whether to get them for her in gold or silver and remember some people are allergic to certain types of both so this is something you want to make sure you know before you get her this gift.

Simon Gift Card-I recommend this because it works like a credit card and she can use it at whatever store she wants. Gift cards are always a good idea and if you know of a particular store where she loves to shop you can always get her one from that place; however if you're not sure, the Simon gift card is your best bet since it can be used anywhere you want.

Wallet-you can get nice ones of these that are feminine most anywhere. This way she can keep cash, her school or state ID, and any other item she may need in there and keep it in her purse. It also gives her the option of something smaller to carry when she wants to hang out with a friend but not carry a whole purse. Plus it may help her feel more like a grown up since she has a wallet like her parents that she can keep whatever she needs to keep in.

Lip-gloss Set-once again you can get this in a handy mini-variety pack so she has lots of options to choose from for what color she wants. What I like about this is lip-gloss is like make-up without actually being lipstick so you won't have to worry about offending any parents with this gift. Plus it will make her feel pretty and that is always a nice thing to do.

Hope this gave you some good ideas for stocking stuffers for the teenage girls in your life.
