Stocking Stuffers for Your Wife

Are you a man looking to find sosmething special to sneak into your wife's stocking this Christmas? Or maybe you just need a quick gift idea to add to something you have already purchased. Here are a few ideas for some special goodies to use as stocking stuffers for the woman in your life.

Now keep in mind that no two women are alike and that you should pay close attention to exactly what your wife is interested in before going out and buying things to fill her Christmas stocking with. We all know how complicated it can be to buy a gift for a woman if you don't know what she likes. Here are just a few ideas that I, a woman, would enjoy as stocking stuffers in my own stocking this Christmas. Hopefully it will help you come up with some ideas for your own wife.

A gift certificate for a day at the spa!! I don't know any wife that would turn this gift down. Just today I was telling my own husband that I would love to go to the local day spa - especially for that one hour massage they offer. Ahhhhh! So why not give your wonderful wife a day of pampering? Just think of how relaxed she will be when she gets home and you wouldn't have had to lift a finger for her to be that relaxed. Even if you can't afford to spend the money for a whole day at the spa, you could just purchase a one hour massage session for your wife. I know she will appreciate it and it will be a fantastic stocking stuffer for Christmas.

How about a new bottle of perfume that your wife has been thinking about getting? Sometimes we won't buy things like this for ourselves, especially if we are so busy with our daily lives that we hardly even think about wearing perfume. Instead of one big bottle of new perfume, you could buy several small trial sizes so that your wife will have a variety of new perfumes to try out in the months to come. If it turns out that she doesn't like one of the fragrances then at least it would not be a whole big bottle of wasted perfume.

Stationary and cool ink pens are another good idea for stocking stuffers for wives. Wives are usually the ones who write letters, send out thank you cards, make lists of things to do and even sign and send out all of those gorgeous Christmas cards every year. I, for one, absolutely adore getting new stationary and ink pens. Especially if they are colorful. You can find many different types of stationary and ink pens at any office supply store and even at your local Walmart. I also believe I spotted a cute stationary storage box last Christmas that would be great for anyone who enjoys these little treasures.

Another good idea for stocking stuffers would be to go with a theme. If your wife loves things like shower gels, body lotions, lip glosses then just buy up a lot of little things and fill her stocking full of little things to pamper herself with. I'm a nail polish fanatic and am always looking for a new color to adorn my fingers and toes with. You could buy matching scents of trial sized bubble bath, shower gels, body lotions and body sprtiz. Then throw in a new nail file, bottle of nail polish and a new tube of flavored lip gloss.

If you really want to do something interesting with this theme you could add in a new kind of lip gloss that I just found out about. It's called DailyGloss by Cargo. Candles are another good stocking stuffer suggestion. If your wofe loves all of the scents available in candles these days then you could buy her several small votive candles with a variety of fragrances. These would be great to throw in if you are planning to do the above pampering themed stocking. She could light these scented candles and set them out around the bathroom while she takes her bubble bath and uses her new shower gels that you gave to her.

No matter what you plan to purchase as stocking stuffers for your wife always remember to buy her things that she will enjoy. Pay attention to what her interests are and just go from there. If your wife loves to knit then you could buy her several different colors of really nice yarn. Or you could buy her a new knitting book full of interesting patterns she may like to experiment with. If your wife is a bookworm you could buy her a gift card to her favorite book store. Or get her a variety of nice bookmarkers. Anything that interests her and is small enough to fit into her Christmas stocking will make a great stocking stuffer. Just be on the lookout for that perfect gift because it may just be in a place that you least expect it.
