While it does have the word 'diner' in its name do not let that fool you into thinking that they food that they serve is your typical greasy diner fare. That could not be farther from the truth. The Stone Creek Diner is actually a decent sized family restaurant with a menu similar to what you would see at a Shoney's or a Friendly's restaurant only I think that the food is much better! You can find the Stone Creek Diner at 12995 Stonecreek Drive in Pickerington. It sits right on state route 256, also called Hill Road North, which is exit number 112B off of interstate I-70 North or simply exit 112 if you are traveling south on interstate 70. Make sure you head in the direction of Pickerington instead of Reynoldsburg and you will see the StoneCreek Diner on your left, just past the Barnes and Noble and Uno Chicago Grill restaurant.
The cost of meals is low and the dress is casual. You get a lot of food for the money as well. Their burgers rival those of restaurants like TGI Friday's except they are not as greasy and come with two sides for less than the cost of a burger and fries at a restaurant like TGI Friday's. Service is always quick. If you go for lunch during the week it will not be too busy but nights and weekends the place is always packed with people.
The main chef at the restaurant is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts. Typical diner fare is on the menu as well as many other items such as seafood. Broasted chicken is the house speciality.
Most meals are under $10 at the StoneCreek Diner. The StoneCreek Diner is located in Pickerington, OH at 12995 StoneCreek Drive. You can reach them by phone at 614-866-1111. They do not have a website but will fax you a menu if you call the phone number and ask. There is plenty of free parking and they take all major credit cards including American Express. Their hours of operation are 7 am to 9pm every day of the week. If you can get your hands on a Columbus Entertainment Book there is a coupon in there for $5 off a $15 purchase at this restaurant.
