She walked along the roadside, dinner in hand. Lady Luck had delivered her a relatively fresh bit of roadkill when she needed it most. It wasn't much but it would keep her fed for at least two days. Now all she needed was to find that odd leftover ear of corn from the harvest. That would be perfect to make a soup with the goose. Not that it mattered much, tomorrow she was going to try to get assistance at the mission in town so she didn't have to live in the woods anymore. It was time to move out and move on.
